Administration

As a native of Charleston County, it is a pleasure to work in the district where I received my educational foundation. I graduated from Lincoln High, a small community school in McClellanville. The educators in the Awendaw/McClellanville schools embraced and demanded success from all students. Growing up in a family with high educational values in conjunction with my K - 12 experiences; the notion of obtaining a college degree came natural.

During a high school visit to South Carolina State College, now University; I found a sense of belonging. That experience was the beginning of a world of new opportunties for me. At SCSU, I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education degree in Counselor Education. In an effort to advance in career opportunties, I enrolled at The Citadel to pursue Educational Administration.

My ultimate goal is to obtain a doctorate degree within the next five years.
